CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK
✔ ITINERARY
08:30–09:00: Our van and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel/homestay and depart for Cuc Phuong National Park.
The road trip begins with around one hour through peaceful back roads deep inside the typical northern Vietnamese countryside, where you can admire breathtaking limestone karsts, rice fields, water buffaloes, cows, mountain goats, ducks, sheep, and many other local animals living in harmony.
10:30: Visit the Visitor Center (Museum) to learn about Vietnam's first National Park, established in 1962 by President Ho Chi Minh. Continue to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center.
12:00: Transfer by van to the primary forest, where you'll begin a nature hike to the Ancient Tree. The hike takes approximately less than 2 hours. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the jungle center.
In the afternoon, continue with a shorter hike featuring 168 steps to the Cave of Prehistoric Man, where ancient humans lived over 7,500 years ago, followed by a scenic walk to Mac Lake beside the bungalow area.
On the return journey along the loop road, stop at the beautiful backside viewpoint of one of Southeast Asia's largest pagodas, Bai Dinh Pagoda, where you'll have plenty of opportunities to take memorable photos for your Instagram.
16:30–17:00: Passengers will be dropped off at the original pick-up point. Tour ends.
